In 1910 Glacier National Park became a must see attraction and the Dew Drop Inn became a base camp for many while they spent their days exploring the Park and all of its stunning scenery. The original structure of the historic Dew Drop Inn was built in 1919 (and is still preserved in the current building), serving local loggers and tourists alike with a frothy cold beer after a long day of logging or hiking. It was known as an oasis for many who migrated in for the seasonal logging and became a place to rest and refuel the body, spirit and automobile. Loggers and Park visitors would drop in for a cold beer and lay their tired heads in one of the original cabins located on the south end of the 10 acre property. Previously owned and operated by multiple individuals, this bar and casino has survived and thrived through the decades. It has undergone a few changes and additions to accommodate the growing number of faces that call the Dew Drop Inn their home away from home. The recent facelifts by Mark Tudahl and BJ Holman in 2018 and 2021 have set to preserve and honor the past of this piece of history as it continues to be a place for future generations to enjoy. The Dew Drop Inn is a beloved watering hole for the Coram Community, Flathead Valley and the visitors that share their memories within the walls of this historic landmark of Northwest Montana.
